Terms of service
The terms below cover use of the East Anglia Systema website, including the booking of trial classes and the purchase of seminar tickets. Class attendance is also subject to a separate physical-activity waiver, signed at first attendance.
Who we are
East Anglia Systema is a Cambridge-based school for the Russian martial art Systema, operated jointly by Gareth Ashby and Andy Cefai. East Anglia Systema runs weekly classes and organises regular workshops and international seminars.
Use of the site
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it (for example, by attempting to disrupt service, scrape data, or impersonate another user). Content on the site is copyright of East Anglia Systema and its contributors unless otherwise stated. You may share and link freely; you may not republish without permission.
Trial class bookings
A trial class booking is an invitation to attend a class at a confirmed time. It does not bind you to any further attendance or payment. Trial attendees are asked to sign a physical-activity waiver on arrival.
Seminar tickets
Seminar tickets are sold by East Anglia Systema Ltd (in formation). The refund policy on each seminar page applies. Tickets are transferable; please email events@eastangliasystema.com to arrange a transfer.
Physical activity
Martial arts training, including Systema, carries the risk of physical injury. By attending a class or seminar you confirm you are fit to train, you have disclosed any relevant medical conditions to the instructor, and you accept responsibility for training within your own limits. The full physical activity disclaimer and waiver applies; your attendance also confirms acceptance of the separate signed waiver document at first attendance.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by UK law. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the site or any booking made through it is limited to the price paid by you.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
