Private tuition lets us focus entirely on your priorities. Whether that is self-defence, health, recovery from injury, stress and fear management, or going deeper than the weekly class allows, the work is shaped around the person in front of us.
Available for individuals, small groups, families, or organisations. In-person across East Anglia or online for students further afield.
£50 per hour in person, £30 per hour online. Travel within ten miles at the standard rate; further by arrangement.

Private tuition can be shared between two people at the standard rate. Small groups of up to four people are also welcome for a small additional charge per extra student. Discounts are available for longer or regular bookings.
Gareth trains primarily in Wrestlingworth, Bedfordshire. He is happy to travel within roughly a ten-mile radius at the standard rate, provided you have access to a safe and suitable space. Further distances can be arranged at an increased rate.

No. Private tuition is a good way to begin if you would prefer not to start in a group, or if your schedule does not match the weekly class times. Many students use a session or two privately and then move into the weekly classes.
It can supplement them or stand alone, depending on what you want from the training. Regular weekly practice with other students is the simplest path for most people. Private tuition is useful when you want to work on something specific, train at your own pace, or fit training into a constrained schedule.
Welcome. We have worked with parents and children, couples and small groups of friends or colleagues. The cost can be shared and the work adapted to the group.
Sessions run by video call. They suit breathing, body work, movement, awareness and conversation about training. Some partner work can be adapted with a willing training partner at your end. We will discuss what makes sense for your situation when you get in touch.
